Notice of Personal Data Practices
This Notice provides an overview of UPS’ practices on the collection, retention, use and disclosure of Personal Data submitted through UPSjobs.com (the "System"). As used in this Notice, "we," "our," "us," and "UPS" mean the subsidiaries and affiliates of United Parcel Service, Inc. worldwide.
By completing this online form and selecting "I Agree" below, you consent to the processing of your Personal Data as described in the Notice, including the transfer of your Personal Data to countries other than your country of residence or the country of the job you applied for, and you acknowledge that the destination countries may not provide the same level of data protection.

Personal Data We Obtain and How We Use It
UPS will use Personal Data you submit to the System to
• Establish and manage your Careers Site account
• Provide applicant support and respond to and communicate with you about your application
• Evaluate your qualifications and personal experience for available positions
• Contact you regarding possible employment
• Perform data analyses in connection with the purposes listed above
• Obtain background check information (where permitted by and in accordance with applicable law)
• Comply with applicable legal requirements and our policies
"Personal Data" means information that identifies you or is identifiable to you, such as your name physical address, email address, telephone number, CV/resume and employment history. We do not actively collect Personal Data that may be considered to be sensitive under applicable data protection law. In limited cases, we may collect sensitive Personal Data if required by law or if you submit such data voluntary.
Rights of Access, Rectification, Blocking and Deletion
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to and receive information about the Personal Data we maintain about you, update and correct inaccuracies in your Personal Data, and have the data blocked or deleted, as appropriate. These rights may be limited in some circumstances by local law requirements. To exercise your rights (other than blocking), please use the profile management tools on the System or (for all rights including blocking) contact us as specified in the Questions section below.
We may transfer Personal Data to countries other than the country in which the Personal Data originally was collected. These countries may not provide the same level of data protection as the country in which the Personal Data originally was collected. When we transfer Personal Data to other countries, we will process it in accordance with this Notice.
The Personal Data will be placed in a central database maintained by our service provider, Taleo Corporation, in the United States. Taleo Corporation participates in the EU-U.S. Safe Harbor Program.
